CCDs

 

We are now able to offer CCDs suitable for use in webcam modifications.  The websites describing these mods are.

• http://www.astrosurf.com/astrobond/ebvpnbe.htm - replacement of standard colour CCD with unfiltered black and white version giving increased sensitivity.

• http://www.pmdo.com/wsc3.htm - Replacement of standard 1/4 inch CCD with larger 1/3 inch ICX424 (colour or B/W).

• http://www.madpc.net/~greg/icx414.htm - Replacement of standard 1/4 inch CCD with an even larger 1/2 inch ICX414 (colour or B/W).

As we are now buying CCDs for the Artemis cameras in reasonable quantities we should be able to offer these CCDs at a better price than individuals can get with the major distributors.
