The only difference
between the different Artemis models
is the CCD fitted. The
supported CCDs cover a wide range of
resolutions, pixels sizes, formats,
and come in both colour and mono
versions. Also covered is a
wide range of prices from a few
pounds to about £500. In
general you do get what you pay for.
The ICX285 is a very nice CCD
indeed. However the ICX429 can
offer very attractive performance
for the price. The cheaper
ICX245 and ICX255 may be viewed as
starter CCDs.
